We made it to Venice and were very impressed by this old town and how much history it has.
St Mark's Square:
After our Rick Steve's app tour, we toured St Mark's Basilica. It was incredible. We actually saw the altar with the actual remains of St Mark. He wrote part of the Bible. That hit us pretty hard and we were very impressed!

We had the local drink with the locals. It was gross, but everyone was drinking it!
We had a fabulous time in Venice! Busy day of sightseeing but with the best travel buddy :)
