Belgium

Brian's family in Belgium were very excited to show us around Antwerp, Belgium. They were so nice and hospitable and we felt very welcome there!

This was the Central Station in the middle of town:

Brian made sure to enjoy a Belgian Waffle with caramel and whipped cream: 

The family got together at the DeHaeger's house. Jean, Cecile, Marlene, and Luc. 

They were excited to show us the canals and locks:

We also visited a Nazi prison camp and learned about the history in this town. Lots of WW2 history!

So thankful for their hospitality and welcoming me to the family:

We made sure to enjoy the Belgian chocolate while we were there as well!

 After our time in Belgium, Brian and I were off to Italy on our own. The adventure continues :)
