Billy's Baptism

This last Saturday May 3rd, Billy was baptized at St John's Catholic Church. It is a tradition on both sides of our family and so it was special to have this for our son as well! We had a little party beforehand and celebrated with our families.

Billy's godparents Tiffany and Chad! They came all the way out from far far Eastern Oregon for this special day. We love these two! So thankful for them in our lives.

Here we were getting ready to head to the church!

... And a few party pics :)

Here we are at the church, he wore the white onesie and vest that both my brothers Ian and Max wore at their baptisms 23 and 21 years ago. That was special to bring that to this ceremony. Granted, we had to leave the onsie unbuttoned in the back to fit our healthy, big boy :)

Billy did great at the service, slept some of the time, only made a little fuss with the water, and tolerated the oil anointing like a champion. On the way home he was chatting and smiling up a storm. It was amazingly adorable and he's the best little guy we could ask for! Saturday was a great welcoming of the newest little Christian in the family. It does take a village to raise a child, and we have a great village.
