Whirlwind weekend!

Last weekend we made the absolute most of our time and got to spend some great time with friends. We even made our way to the Oregon Ducks Spring Game and then all the way over to Bend for some brewery and dog park fun in central oregon. Maximum fun but minimum sleep...made for one long work week ;)

Sunday at the ER?

I was on the way home from the coast and I got a call from Brian because he was peeling wood... and this happened:

He wanted me to super glue it or stitch it up when I got home because it wouldn't stop bleeding. Ummm... no thanks. So I said I'd meet him at Urgent care. Of course, it was closed on Sunday afternoon so we had to go to the ER and he was no very happy. I called him back like an hour later and he was at Burgerville getting some food just in case it took a while. To his credit, it did :)

They cleaned it up, stitched him up, and sent him on his way.

It looks a lot better now that it's cleaned up... but poor guy, his wife apparently kicked it in her sleep that very first night :-/ whoops! He's one tough guy, but I'm glad he got the professionals to take care of him.

Florida-Georgia Line Girls Weekend

Some of my very best friends and Kappa sisters and I made plans months ago to see a new country band called Florida-Georgia Line when they played at Chinook Winds Casino, and we made a weekend out of it! It was so beautiful at the beach and we had such a good time.

We started with bellinis while we were getting ready... and we had such a gorgeous view!

One of my nurse friends Yvonne had a beutiful baby named Max. I got to borrow them for a few hours and get some heartwarming newborn photos on his 2 week birthday. Here are some of my favorites!

Spring San Fran Trip

 

Brian went to train for a new position at work at the company's California offices and he invited me to join him! I went down the weekend before to hang out with my friend Kara (who actually introduced Brian and I). It was so fun to have a mini vacay, get some time in the sun, and just hang out!

After Napa, I went to Foster City with Brian. I was able to get together with Kara for lunch of coffee during the week, which was fabulous... just like college :)

Brian and I went to the beach one evening and just hung out after his work.

I got in some awesome waterside runs... made for a great vacation :)
