Billy's Baptism

This last Saturday May 3rd, Billy was baptized at St John's Catholic Church. It is a tradition on both sides of our family and so it was special to have this for our son as well! We had a little party beforehand and celebrated with our families.

Billy's godparents Tiffany and Chad! They came all the way out from far far Eastern Oregon for this special day. We love these two! So thankful for them in our lives.

Here we were getting ready to head to the church!

... And a few party pics :)

Here we are at the church, he wore the white onesie and vest that both my brothers Ian and Max wore at their baptisms 23 and 21 years ago. That was special to bring that to this ceremony. Granted, we had to leave the onsie unbuttoned in the back to fit our healthy, big boy :)

Billy did great at the service, slept some of the time, only made a little fuss with the water, and tolerated the oil anointing like a champion. On the way home he was chatting and smiling up a storm. It was amazingly adorable and he's the best little guy we could ask for! Saturday was a great welcoming of the newest little Christian in the family. It does take a village to raise a child, and we have a great village.

11 weeks!

This last week Billy has been smiling so much and it makes me so happy! I love this little blue eyed boy 💙

We like to do massage time and tummy time while the blazers are on :)

Here he is telling his friend Lyla a joke, she's waiting patiently for the punch line...

She thought it was mildly amusing ;)

In Tuesday we went to the zoo... I had fun with my friends, and Billy enjoyed a nice nap in the Bjorne.

)Sorry for the boob shot)

Here is the zoo with my sweet friend Angela!

And the whole Emanuel group!

Then we had music! Hazel and Billy look like they are dancing!

We have more smile pics :)

And we had a great sun lounging day with our friend Jenna!

Soaking up my baby cuddles while he's little.

We got a wombie swaddle sack to try to help him sleep... He feels like he's getting big but still looks tiny in his crib :)

Chilling in the Bjorne.

Here we are heading up to get my hair cut! Lots of supplies :)

Grandmas make good baby buddies at the salon :)

Thanks for the haircut Stacey!

A few stretching pics ;)

And smiles. I love his face :)

More smiles :)

And then a fun play date with Houston and Graham! This momma also very much enjoyed her first sips of wine since last May!

Love these two :)

And we got to see Jessie!

Fun but busy week!

We like goofing off with dad :)
